Shattered.... Massive understantement. 2 nights not loads of sleep owell it was a good gig. Was singing karaoke last night which was hilarious!! The best fun in a while. Realised ive been well too miserable recently and people have been noticing! :s I don't mean to be but what with job hunting and shed loads of uni work I've just been really tired. I know what the problem is thou. My life isn't structured in you g from one thing to the next ad not focusing on any thing. I need to focus my energy on one thing and it will be sorted which is why I'm so glazed at them moment.
It's also been confirmed that the bar I work at is closing in two days time. Great tines not :(

Conference
Well in the last 24 hours I have managed to speak at my first academic conference with a paper written on the the paradox of compliance and choice and yes it was confusing.... Since that I am now working for the university on a residential trip. 21 year 11 pupils loud and brash decend on the uni for two nights and 3 days and yes I'm on nights:) it's great fun rele :) been bowling to te cinema and going to ask tonight :) and I get a nice comfy hotel room courtesy of holiday inn express :) it's awesome in fact :)
Not heard back from any jobs yet.... Why's it taking so long.
Oooo the bar want to talk more about the offer which is excellent. Never had to negotiate pay before lol!!! :)

Happy as Larry
Well after working a 13 hour day I didn't really feel like posting. so here i am now all refreshed after a really good nights sleep :) got up this morning and sewed a button onto my trousers :) how cool am I and yes mum I managed to sew a button onto something.... well there's always a first time for something haha !!
on a lighter note last night at work was hilarious, worked with two great people. there was one girl in and i think she may have been feeling the early summer happiness because she kept declaring her underling love for me :s and told me I was well fit and gorgeous, flattered I am really but just laughable that she doesn't know the truth hehe ;)

Sleep Time
Well it is 10 past 1 in the morning, here i am tired as anything and updating my brand new blog... just got in from sed bar that i work at..... I moan about having to be up this late/ early in the morning but i love it really or else i wouldnt even be there. You know what the loveliest girl works with me she will always text me to see how I am... just a shame i'm not interested in that way ;) haha !!
Right off to bed i go i start my next job in 9 hours time and then back to the bar in the evening. the joy :) but i love working :) sad really lol.

Offers on the table
Well... I just realised I haven't actually put anything about the stage I am at thus far. obviously i'm not going to name any of the companies and I want it to be noted that I realise that the calibre for graduates is extremely high now. especially with the current job market.
So starting at the beginning I applied for one job and failed on the comprehension round. They gave me 30 minutes to answer 40 questions (really???)
The second job applied for was a big department story apparently its of great importance to understand Eiensteins (sorry if that's spelt wrong :s) theory of relativity for a department store, I just couldn't remember the text.... as if in real life you wouldn't just have it in front of you :s
Have got a job offer working in quite possibly the coolest bar ever. just I wouldn't be able to afford to live anywhere near it and wouldn't be able to commute.... this decision is pending as its an awesome opportunity.
Currently awaiting to hear back from about 5 potential employers fingers crossed xx

Day One
I should probably start by telling you a bit about myself. I am a 21 year old, pretty average guy. I don't suppose many people will even care to read this. But I am going to write this anyway. I am currently in my third year of study at The University of Lincoln. I am studying for a Management degree. To be honest my degree is AWESOME!!!! (and yes the use of capitals was completely necessary) My tutors are pretty cool.... and my Diss tutor is amazing :) no doubt there will be more on her greatness in the future.
I am hoping to graduate from uni with a 2:1 but a 1st is not too far off the horizon hopefully :) Either would be an achievement in my eyes considering that I work 3 jobs (more on that to come (and yes i did just say i have 3 jobs)) I work at a lovely little bar in the centre of Lincoln and have had some amazing nights there. I also work in a clothes shop and everyone there is great too. I also work for my uni, that's cool too cause i get to work with kids who have the potential to go to uni and its fantastic telling them how good it all is :)
Wow I can waffle. Right employment number one.... Retail shop assistant/sunday manager at same shop :) is pretty cool. Employment numero two.... duty manager at the bar sadly this is closing down :( but.....you see prospective employers.... bags of management potential (I joke but in all seriousness I have a full CV and I feel that by demonstrating my thoughts via blog then I may get heard by someone :) )
One last note...... Consider this The Julie and Julia of Graduate job hunting :) a day by day step by step real life account of the struggles that a graduate may or may not go through to find a job :)
